Call For Nominations: Social Protection Floor

The International Labour Organization
(ILO) and the Special Unit for
South-South Cooperation
in the United Nations Development
Programme (UNDP)
invite nominations
for initiatives with successful social
protection floor experiences.
Selected nominees will be asked to
develop a case study of the Social
Protection Floor Initiative (SPF-I) and
to present and discuss their experience
at an international workshop in Turin,
Italy in July 2010. The case studies
will be published by the UNDP Special
Unit for South-South cooperation as
volume 17 of the series: Sharing
Innovative Experiences.
National or local governmental agencies, scientific institutions or practitioners that can document the process of how a successful Social Protection Floor was established, are invited to propose potential contributors as soon as possible.
The Submission DEADLINE is Wednesday 31 March 2010
